Question Disable or fix "Switch User" in KDE?

Hi all!

I'm running a Fedora Core 4 laptop. In the latest batch up yum updates was a newer KDE (3.5.0-0.1.fc4). In this update, the "Switch User" feature was added in the KDE menu and the screen saver unlock dialog box.

The problem is, it seems to be completely busted. If you choose new session on the switch user dialog, it lock the system hard, and requires a reboot. Unfortunately, two of my coworkers think this is very funny and do it whenever I leave my desk.

Does anybody know how to remove or grey out the "Switch User" buttons, especially from the screen saver unlock dialog? Even better: Does anybody knows how to fix this functionality so it actually starts multiple sessions?

Thanks much!

Or thirdly, fix your coworkers with your boot.

Though it may not be helpful, switching from the KDE interface to the xscreensaver native interface may improve things. The xscreensaver docs provide details on how to do this.
