Disable file:// acess on google-chrome


Hi friends,

Earlier google-chrome by default used to disable access to local file system. But now in google-chrome 36 it is enabled by default. How can I desable this access to local file system ? Please help. Thank you.

why do you need that?

I need it because I am deploying few pcs in my network with only browser access. This is a major security concern if a user is able to access local file-system using the browser.
