Unhappy DirectFB Segmentaion Fault


i just got framebuffer workin in gentoo and i wanted to run links2 in full color (using directfb) and i get a nasty lookin error when i try to run it.

bash-2.05b# links2 -g google.com -driver directfb

my graphics card is an nvidia 5500 (and im using DVI), i have an nforce3 chipset with athlon 64.
