Direct Connect over ssh

I'm looking for a dc client that will work over text based ssh. I tried ldcc but it appears it requires X (?).

Code:
[~/downloads/ldcc-2.0.7]$ ldcc
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
Thanks.

I do not understand what you want. SSH can be used to send and recieve files from or to the server. You can use sftp to upload or download files using ssh protocol.

You probably want to use SNFS if you do not want anybody have the ability to look at the whole entire system which ssh does.
