direct connect

Does anyone know of a way to force a transfer for one of the portions of direct connect for linux. I have mandrake 9.1, and can't figure out how to finish the installation. The instructions I read said that the transfer must be forced, but I'm not sure how to do it. Thanks

yah for future reference make sure you point out what error your getting and what software you are getting it from....i know your talking about direct connect, but there is both dctc and dcgui, so we won't know what your talking about cause of the fact that there is two apps (that i know of anyways)....
but do try what cadj says, if that is in fact the point at hand, and if not clearify your problem.
