difficulty installing program with Wine

Recently I attempted to install the Windows version of a tax preparation program called StudioTax. According to Wine it is rated as Gold.

In the early stages of installation it asked where the program should be installed, and offered this as a default:

C:\Program Files\BHOK IT Consulting\StudioTax 2014\

which seemed appropriate for Windows. . .and I let it go, assuming that the Wine program could cope, but after accepting the licensing agreement, and clicking Install, the installation froze with the error message "Invalid Command Line".

I suspect that the problem lay in the choice of destination, but I would need help with this—I would be glad if someone would provide a line I could copy and paste.

I am running Linux Mint 17.
Thanks

Do you have dot net installed, check which version is required.
You have till April 30 to get your taxes done.

as above

also what version of Wine is it ?
you might need the UNSTABLE version from WineHQ
the Development version
https://www.winehq.org/announce/1.7.39

--- From the wineHQ page for this PLEASE READ IT ---

"StudioTax for the 2014 tax year. Free to use for personal users, "
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManag...sion&iId=31862

you REALLY need to read the wine page
you have to manually extract the msi and cab files
and use wint tricks ( the extras) to install MS dot net4

Many thanks for the last comments.
I followed the links and worked through their instructions, only to hit the same "Invalid Command Line" dead end.
I think the next step will be to install the unstable branch of Wine and try again.

Since all this started in part as a way of avoiding facing my taxes, I decided it made more sense to simply do them!
I have made a note on the calendar to look into StudioTax in January 2016, and i have sent a donation to Wine.
