difference netween linux-image and kernel image?
 
Hello while installing etch debian in expert mode, at a moment i had the choice to install kernel-image or linux-image, i'd like to know the difference?

For the purist, the kernel is Linux. The kernel image typically is named "vmlinuz" + versionnumber

Was it maybe asking you which kernel to install?
