Dial up problems in SUSE 10 (pppd?)

Hi,

I am having trouble dialing up to the internet in SUSE 10. I am using an intel pci modem and dialing tesco 56k anytime dialup internet.

I have configured my dialup in YAST and am using Kinternet to dial but am recieving this error in the dial log:

SuSE Meta pppd (smpppd-ifcfg), Version 1.59 on linux.
Status is: disconnected
trying to connect to smpppd
connect to smpppd
Status is: disconnected
Status is: connecting
Status is: disconnected
pppd[0] died: pppd options error (exit code 2)

Can anyone help me get connected?

Thank you in advance,

Marcus (on his mac!)
