Question dial-up connection using redhat 8.0


i'm having troubl using redhat 8.0. I 've setup my internet connection using the wizards, but my ppp sessionx will not start.
I have no idea what is going on. My modem is allow me to connect, but that's as far as I get????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!

check /var/log/messages for any errors.
