Exclamation /dev/sdb: unrecognised disk label and can't boot from usb

So I wanted to put FreeBSD on my usb disk but it doesn't work and it's not showing in the BIOS.

What I did was create a new partition table in Gparted and add a fat32 partition and when I was done I went to the terminal to copy the iso on the usb with: sudo dd bs=4M if=FreeBSD.iso of=/dev/sdb && sync

And it worked but when I reboot my computer it's not there and when I get to Gparted again it tell me: /dev/sdb: unrecognised disk label but I can still create a new partition table and start over but it won't work again.

Is there anything wrong I did? Is there any way to make this work?

I think I found the problem.. On their website there is an image for usb and the iso is just for the CD/DVD I will try the usb image and see if it work

Update: Yes it was just that
