Desktop software for monitoring multiple Linux desktops simultaneously

Hi guys,

I need to monitor the desktops real-time of teenagers in my class....like when I give them a task, to make sure they are doing it, without having to go their desks.

I'm looking for a way to do something like what this windows-software does -
monitoring(https://networklookout.com/) but in a Linux-Linux environment.

Server is Linux Debian, clients are Ubuntu.

Your suggestion are welcome. I presently use Teamviewer, configured for my LAN only, but this isnt enough.

Other ideas to get same done in Linux is also welcome.

regards
tokunbo

If you're doing something like that an LMS might be a cool thing to get into, but that's not really the point of your post. For debian, perahps Veyon ? https://veyon.io/#monitor

VNC gets you part way there. But you need a front end to arrange multiple remote desktops on one monitor.
