Hi all,
normally when i click opensuse I goto desktop mode but this time suddenly I went to console mode. Could somebody help to let me switch to desktop mode.

ITs rocco, you need to config Xorg to start when linux boots. I do it by drakconf, Options... Start Xorg on boot. If # kde doesnt work, you need to give us your errors.

Another linux member sent another solution, I tried it and it is working and solved the problem.
type : startx = it will switch you from CLI mode to GUI mode

And if you want it permanent (so without having to issue 'startx'), modify /etc/inittab. Look for the line containing initdefault and modify the number.
