computergee Member Registered: Feb 2005 Posts: 58 Rep:	Depends on Python 2.4 wont install w. 2.4.2-0ubuntu3 Im on Ubuntu Dapper, 6.06. I am trying to install FreeVo, but there a bunch of dependencies that aren't on my repositories. It needs to have Python 2.4 installed. I have Python installed but the version says 2.4.2-0ubuntu3. How can I change the version to 2.4 so the program will install? Here is the error I get from Synaptic. freevo: Depends: python (<2.4) but 2.4.2-0ubuntu3 is to be installed Depends: python2.3-twisted but it is not installable Depends: freevo-media but it is not going to be installed
