Dependencies blues with KDE 3.4

Im trying to update my KDE 3.3.2 (by kde-redhat) to KDE 3.4 (again by kde-redhat) and found myself missing 2 dependencies libmusicbrainz.so.4 and another thingie called libtunepimp (or something like that).
Got my hands onto a rpm from Dag which was libmusicbrainz (v2.0.1) and had to build libtunepimp. While building I met an error saying that libtunepimp needed libmusicbrainz v2.1. Then and only then I notice that the rpm from Dag sez its 2.0.1 so I get my hands on the source from libmusicbrainz 2.1 and build it. Builds and installs just fine.
But then I goto build libtunepimp again and find myself with the same error. Also I notice that the version of libmusicbrainz is so.2 and I need so.4

Im puzzled, everything indicates that libmusicbrainz was built and installed perfectly from source package. So whats going on here?

Maybe Im missing something, or I did something wrong. Im posting this hoping someone has some experience with this or can give me some advice as to what I can do to fix it or what did I did wrong.

Thanx for any replies.

Hello!

Today I update my KDE to version 3.4. I have libmusicbrainz-2.0.2-11 installed on my box. You can find it here. Try to install this one, maybe it helpes.

You can also try to install libmusicbrainz with yum and it will automatically take care of it's dependencies.

AFAIK KDE 3.4 can be installed via apt-get.
