Deleted file
 

I wonder if someone could help me on this.

I am using Samba for file sharing on my network and I had created a folder named Departments.

Within Departments there are few more shared subfolders. My question, if someone delete a file from the subfolder, will it be possible to recover the deleted file?

Yep.. if there is a regular backup being done !!! Do you have one ???

It is very hard to recover a deleted file in linux. And there is no recycle bin in samba, just as there is no in a windows file server either.
