Default CD Player

Hi,

Is there anyway I can get XMMS to load as my default CD Player rather than the standard Gnome CD Player?

I cant listen to CD audio in Gnome CD player as I dont have a cable between my CD drive and soundcard - I dont want the Gnome CD player popping up as a result...

If I cant set XMMS as default, can I just stop the Gnome Player popping up?

Thanks for any help?

Go to the control center and find the file associations
list. In mine (Xandros), it's in the "file manger" section.
Could be different for your distribution. Then change the
rule for *.??? (whatever xmms opens up).
