Wink Decoding Yenc from Pine?

Well, now seemingly %99 of binaries in usenet
are in Yenc format. Since 1997
I've been exporting uuencoded messages
from Pine--and running something
like uudeview which works quite well.
However, neither Pine nor TRN seem
to support yenc. How can I best
save these messages in a unix shell,
so I can correctly decode them?
I am trying ubh, but I really don't
understand it.
Since I am running a screen-reader,
I prefer text-based commandline.
Thanks so much in advance

You could try piping the message from within Pine to a yenc decoder (see Freshmeat.net).
