Decided on Mandrake, Question about stability

Well, i think i have finally decided on a distro. I am going to try out Mandrake.

This seems to be one of the more newb user friendly distros. My computer is also used by others in the house so i will have to dual-boot with XP but i am hoping that this easy to use distro will let the others try it out and eventually get rid of windows all together, or at least confine it to the smallest space on my HD possible 'just in case'

My question is about the stability. Specifically the betas. I learned that the Mandrake 10 beta is out now. I would like to use this to 'give back' by helping to report bugs that my arrise.

Has anyone else used any mandrake betas? How good are they? I don't want there to be too many bugs as this would turn off the parents from linux.
