Debian unstable - the new thunderbird..

I did an "apt-get install upgrade" the other day, and when i restarted thunderbird its a new and improved version..

However, now it's upgraded, upon clicking on links in emails (for the usual viagra and pr0n sites) it's reverted back to using galeon as my default browser! grr.. Used to be set to firefox, and I can't find any option within thunderbird to set it back??!?

Anyone have any ideas? "Preferred applications" in gnome is still set to firefox..

Thanks

James

Close browser and add following two lines into the prefs.js

user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.http","mozilla-firefox");
user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.https","mozilla-firefox");

Try "update-alternatives --config x-www-browser", as root, from shell.

I have to admit, this solution is kinda difficult to find (especially for "users only" like me...).
