Debian Sparc busmouse lock up

To all,

Am having difficulty running the mouse at X windows
runtime on a Sparc Station 20 using the Debian Woody
distribution. The mouse locks up quite frequently even under
the OLVWM. I suspect that it has something to do with
the protocol but as per documentation BusMouse is correct.

Do not have the same problems under the BASH shell.

Searched the internet for some answers but could not get
a good one. Looked into the BusMouse HowTo and tried
suggestions but still encounter the same problem.

My /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 is as follows:

Option "Device" "/dev/sunmouse"
Option "Protocol" "BusMouse"

Anybody with experience solving mouse problems on Sun
Sparc 20s with same kind of problems? Need your help
immediately.

Thank you very much and best regards.
