debian saned segfault

I have a box with Squeeze (up to date as of right now) running saned for a scanner/printer.

Other squeeze boxes on network can use the scanner fine.

Now, when I try and use the scanner from my Android tablet with InSaneScanner (best app I found), saned segfaults.

I figure this is probably a bug with the Android app, but I want to double check and make sure.

Only useful output I have is from dmesg:

Code:
483.336711] saned[1263]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp bfb3be9c error 4 in saned[8048000+f000]
Which brings me nothing on Google.

unfortunately it means almost nothing, just a segmentation fault. Probably you need to make a debug version of saned and also run as normal app to be able to find what's wrong. Maybe invalid data was sent, but we need more info to analyze.
