debian net install .. with another linux already installed

I have CentOS (basically RH Enterprise) already installed and am attempting to install debian. I'm using the netinstall CD. The CentOS install used three partitions on my HD. The debian install created three more. The last step before the install process rebooted asked if I wanted to install grub. I answered "no" because it's already installed. The install process told me:

Quote:
No boot loader has been installed, either because you chose not to or because your specific architecture doesn't support a boot loader yet. You will need to boot your kernel by hand with the root=/dev/hda5 option.
Rebooting, I went to the grub prompt but didn't know how to boot into hda5, much less add debian as an option in the boot menu. Anyone know this one?
