Debian Lenny dm-crypt LVM Frozen
I've made two attempts performing a Debian Lenny install with the 'XFCE Expert' install option, configured with an encrypted LVM on /dev/sdb.
The install goes through without a hitch, but upon booting into the fresh install, it give the usual 'Volume group "foobar" not found. Please enter passphrase: '. At which point I would attempt to enter the passphrase I configured during the install. The whole system seems to lock up, to the point I cannot even toggle numlock or Cntrl+Alt+Del.

I have verified the installation medias integrity and double checked the install options, I have performed this same install multiple times on the same box with Etch.

Also... I am not using any RAID devices. Just have one disk at sda, which is not being used, and the other at sdb, where Lenny was installed to. When booting into the install 'Rescue Mode'. I was able to mount the encrypted LVM without problem when it prompted for the password.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance.

Did you find a solution?

Would like some, possibly silly, Q's from an experienced troubleshooter who knows nothing about your actual problem?
