Debian and Audio Streaming

Hello.

I have a Debian and a client wants to do audio streaming (radio) from my server.

She was using Windows Media Encoder with Windows 2003 Server, but I use Debian.

So: What is necessary to do this (what to install) for audio streming???.

Thank you very much

You could try icecast2 and the icecast-server packages. Sorry I don't know anything about windows or their media encoder so I have no idea if it does the same thing. You might want to explain exactly what you're trying to do for those of us who aren't au fait with windows.
cheers,
