Hey,
I have installed ddclient and have it running on Fedora 8. I have a bufallo tech wireless router. I know that ddclient is running, however, it does not correctly poll the router and update my zoneedit account.
I believe that the problem is getting ddclient to access the router. I have the necessary information to login to the router.
ddclient.conf:
daemon=300 # check every 300 seconds
syslog=yes # log update msgs to syslog
mail=root # mail all msgs to root
mail-failure=root # mail failed update msgs to root
pid=/var/run/ddclient/ddclient.pid # record PID in file.
ssl=yes # use ssl-support. Works with
# ssl-library
#
use=BuffaloAirStation, fw=192.168.11.1:80 # via buffalotech
fw-login=loginName, fw-password=LoginPassword # FW login and password
#
## To obtain an IP address from FW status page (using fw-login, fw-password)

#
Zoneedit setup
## ZoneEdit (zoneedit.com)
##
server=www.zoneedit.com, \
protocol=zoneedit1, \
login=LoginInfo to Zoneedit, \
password=Password for Zoneedit \
domain1,domain2
Sure could use so help. Cannot figure out how to talk correctly with router and get the new ipaddress sent to zoneedit.
Thanks,
Jack
