ddclient malfunctional

Hello.
I really need your guys help. My ddclient running on Fedora 7 has become nuts recently. I have no clue what's wrong with it, and to tell you frankly - even idea where to troubleshoot.

Basically, it stopped updating my dynamic IP information to dyndns.org.

My configuration file (/etc/ddclient.conf):

Code:
# Basic configuration file for ddclient
#
# /etc/ddclient.conf

daemon=600
cache=/tmp/ddclient.cache
pid=/var/run/ddclient.pid
use=web, web=checkip.dyndns.com/, web-skip='IP Address'
login=mylogin
password=xxxxx
protocol=dyndns2
server=members.dyndns.org
wildcard=YES
myhostname.dnsdojo.net

I really don't know what's wrong, nor do I know exactly at what ocassion it stopped doing its job well. My dynamic address doesn't change way too much, so my domain name worked for quite of time until recently, with all tasks I did with it.

Basically, now, if I start it as a service, it will show 'OK'. However, when I use service --status-all and look it up there, it will show me "ddclient dead but subsys locked". What does that mean, exactly?

When I try to stop it (remember, I got *OK* during start) or restart it - it will give me 'FAILED' instead.

I hope some of you guys can help me out, cause I feel I've hit the dead end. I'm even considering reinstalling the whole system as I'm far away from being good at in-deep-stroubleshoot Linux system. But I'm trying to learn. This one in particular is, however, a bit more frustrating.

Thanks in advance!

Question

Apologies if this is against forum etiquette, but I have found this question through Google and am having the same issue. Has anyone else had to fix the same issue with ddclient? Any help much appreciated, my IP tends to stay the same for a long period of time so don't need it updating very often but I do need it to work! Thanks.

Also when I run the following (a dummy ddclient command) it appears to be successful:

Code:
ddclient -daemon=0 -debug -verbose -noquiet
Don't know how much help this is!

I would suggest to start a new thread, with all the relevant info.
