ddclient
For starters, I was wondering if anyone is using this update client for dynamic DNS and if so, could you help me with the config file? Also, for any Slackware users, how can I run this program in daemon mode?
Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm still not sure what the ddclient.conf file should look like, so if anyone could post theirs I would be grateful. I'm pretty sure I can create a cron job to update the DNS when I have this configured. Anyone able to help me out?

Hi, I don't know anything about that one, but I've been using rundns ( http://rundns.dyndns.org/ ) and it has been working very nicely.
Best regards,

Thanks Max. I haven't had a chance to install and configure yet, but I will give it a try when I get a chance. Is it fairly easy to configure? How is the readme file? Is there any additional documentation I should know about?

Thanks man. I do have one question though. I use a linksys router. I'm pretty sure I have to uncomment the line for that at the beginning of the file, but do you have any idea what I have to add?
