dcgui-qt won't run
 

Whenever i try to start dcgui-qt, it wont run and just produce the error below:

i've tried installing via rpm, and compiling the source, but it always does the same thing.

what am i doing wrong here?

i'm using:
mandrake 10
dc-0.3.1
dclib-0.3.1
libxml2-2.6.9
qt-x11-free-3.3.2

all the configures and makes went without problems, i think i forgot to put a link somewhere in .bashrc or something, but i checked all, and i can't figure out which.

if you solve this, thanks a lot :)

ps.
i use vnc to remote connect to the linux machine, maybe this is causing the problem? i dont really want to put machine behind its own monitor.
