dc++ for mandrake 10


hi im saket and hav recently started using linux with mandrake10.
now i want a software like dc++ or odc for mandrake but im not able to find any also whn i found one it was for mandrake 9.1
whn i installed it it hasnt come it my start menu and im not able to locate the installed files of tht dc
plz plz help me out

just get dc-gui-qt and when you
install it, just type :
Code:
dcgui-qt
to execute it .. i am not sure which you tried to install but the one above will work like
i said ...

use dctc instead

Hi Saket,

Even I have Mandrake 10 on my machine, I would suggest you to dctc (another dc client), i use it and its simply great!.

get the following 2 rpms, if u r willing to install it :

dc_gui2-0.76-2plf.i586.rpm ( the GUI for dctc)
dctc-0.85.9-2plf.i586.rpm

u can find the above on any rpm search site

enjoy!
