Date/Time not updating correctly.

Hi Linux people. :)

I have recently installed SUSE Linux 10.2

Since then I have discovered that the Date/Time are not correctly kept up to date by the system.

I do not believe that this is a hardware problem, as the time is correctly kept when I use Windows XP.

I have searched the forums but cannot find any similar problems.

Any pointers would be gratefully accepted.

It actually might be a hardware-related problem. For example, the clock on my Asus A6m runs to quickly with linux, but not with windows. The solution for this particular machine is to boot with the 'noapic' option, according to http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Asus_A6M-Q006H

My point is, it might be helpful for you to look at some linux-install instructions for your specific machine/mobo.

Google is your friend here :-)
