Dear All,

This is my first post to the forum.

I am green in Linux. I am interested in learning Linux. Now my Question is

I have downloaded Oracle software in windows XP desktop.
In another workstation i have loaded Linux Server.

I need to transfer all the files from windows XP to Linux machine else vice versa.

Could any body help how the data s needs to be transferred since iam not aware of the same.

Thanks and Regards

Welcome to LQ.

The best way would be using sftp or scp since you likely have an ssh server installed and running on the linux box. Winscp is a good client for windows:
