Data Recovery Software For Ms Window and *Nix


Hello to all, i have accidently delete a folder on desktop and i cann't find it on recycle bin.

Therefore, i looking for a software that can achieve data recovery.

Any software will do ?

Please help.

I try PhotoRec but it only recover some pictures and not a whole folder.

MY whole folder name Wait Print.

Any other ideas ?

I required a software that recover the whole holder where i specify a path before delete.

It doesn't work that way. Once the directory is deleted it no longer has a name, it no longer exists. You can only recover files that were in the directory.

I prefer foremost for doing that:
http://foremost.sourceforge.net/

or testdisk as mentioned earlier.

It doesn't works since i working on MS Window.

I have try many third party recovery software but none of the software can recover those file.

Any other.

Boot into a knoppix live CD, it includes both foremost and testdisk.
