Dat Drive
Need help with my dat drive not being seen on boot up. Its an Archive Python I use all scsi drives and it is id 6.
I believe its my driver that is Initio INI-9X00U/UW I tried recreating st0 that was a waste of time any Idea's ??? this is what i get on boot up, st: bufsize 32768, wrt 30720, max buffers 4, s/g segs 16. It should say ST0 not st also the dat drive is good i use to use it with an adaptec scsi card which that driver saw it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you cat /proc/scsi/scsi, does it show up? If not, check your cabling (especially terminators).

There are no "drivers" for most SCSI devices because they conform to one of the generics: disk, tape, CD, etc.

Just try to write a *.tar file to /dev/st0. If this doesnt work then try to write the file to /dev/st. If this doesn't work then start :study:
