D-link DWA-140 and driver installation
Well I'm a complete Linux newbie but I have installed the latest Linux Mint as a dual boot system using GRUB as the bootloader.
As soon as I'm in mint, I notice that I can't connect to the internet. My computer does not have a wireless card so I have been using a wireless USB receiver by D-link (DWA-140). I did a google search and found that many people are having a hard time connecting using various USB devices, but finally found the driver.
My question is this: How do I install drivers in Linux? I know...it's pretty basic. I'm online from my Windows partition now, and my Linux can see the partition so I have access to the driver in Mint.
Cheers,
J
