Cyrus Imap

I am trying to setup the Postfix-Cyrus-Web-cyradm configuration from the HOWTO on mainly because I am interested in the web interface and the ability to have domain admins and giving those domain admins power over their domain through the web.

Upon trying to install the cyrus-imapd 2.1.12 I get an error of:

checking for prop_get in -lsasl2... no
configure: error: Cannot continue without libsasl12.

and the configure script stops ...

I have compiled the rest of the packages according to the howto but constantly getting this error still.

during the config script it does ....
checking for sasl/sasl.h... yes

I would really like to get this up and running as I would like to start email hosting.

Help is greatly appreciated .... as well if anybody knows of an alternative web-based front-end to imap/smtp similar in features to this one ... it might be an option.

Thanks in advance
