Question Cygwin Xlib Issues for the Running Man

I just started using Cygwin becuase I heard it was easier to get a glut window to come back to my Windows XP computer. I'm loggin into a Redhat Linux 9.0 pentium base computer. I startxwin.bat, then login using rlogin, and then setenv DISPLAY to my address. After I do this whenever I try to open any gui (gvim, display, or glut program) I get:

Xlib: connection to "my address:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

I did a search and tried some xauth stuff I found but it didn't seem to help. Anyone have any ideas?
