Cygwin on cluster question

Hi All:

I hope I'm in the correct forum for this question. We use Cygwin to access our Linux boxes from Windows to run MySQL dataserver manitenance jobs that are called through a Windows server. I have been tasked to get this architecture working on a Windows cluster, specifically to install Cygwin on the cluster.

My first effort demonstrated that Cygwin is not cluster aware (unless I did something wrong), as when the boxes were rebooted, Cygwin could not find it's components. Anyone have any experience with Cywin on a Windows cluster, or just have any suggestions to offer that might help me get this working?

Thanks, Jim

I guess you'd have to describe exactly what type of cluster windows you have first. Do you mean some server in HA failover?

Other thought, there is a commercial product that we use that is well regarded, Exceed. I personally tend to use mobaxterm.
