CVS access restriction

Hi

I want to install a CVS server.
But, any user of a CVS base can checkout all the files and directories stored in the base.
I would like to restrict the checkout access to some files and directories of my base to some users.

Does anybody know if it is possible and how I could do this?

Thanks for your help
