customising evolution

in evolution - the version that comes with redhat 9 - I would like to change the font that it uses, aswell as the image on the summery page - how would I do this ?

AFAIK it's not possible by defaultf, unless you start hacking the sources naturally

You can change the fonts under Tools, Settings, Mail Preferences, General. Uncheck the box labeled: "Use the same fonts as other applications" Then select the desire fonts from the drop-downs below that box.

surely I can delete / modify an image somewhere ?

Evolution is open source, but in my experience a bit of a nightmare to compile. You can get the source from
