custom themes

where do you edit or greate a new window decoration for custom themes in kde, file names and directories are always nice to know also thanks.

Hi.

It depends on your distribution, but on RedHat/Fedora, the window decoration themes are held in /usr/lib/kde3/

The window decorations are actually compiled code (.so and .la files), so they can't be edited directly.

A quick look or search on google would have brought up this site as well: http://www.kde-look.org/

Which has tons of information about KDE themes, looks, etc.
