Smile Cups printing from networked Slackware machine

Hi there,

We have a network with two machines. One machine has a Cups server and a HPLaserjet connected. Printing from Samba works fine.

Another machine has Slackware 9.0 installed with KDE 3.1. In the printmanager in KDE I can see the HPLaserjet, and I can print a testprint with it. It all works

However, when I try to print from an application (Open Office) with
"lpr -P"
it says connection refused. I have tweaked the cupsd.conf on the cups server to allow connections from other machines (and it works, as I can see the printer, and can print the testpage), but the real thing isn't working. Probably I am forgetting something very simple, but i really don't know.

Kind regards,
