I am having a similar problem with Fedora Core 5 on a Dell Dimension 2400 dual boot XP/Fedora Core 5 machine. The printer works fine with XP and worked with Fedora Core 1. My little Dot Matrix printer works fine but it will not print to the HPpsc750xi PSC Printer Scanner Copier. I get the same message as the original poster.
