CUPS authentification failed (FIXED)
 

Hello,

Ive been running Suse 9.1 for a few days and I decided to set up a printer using localhost:631 ... The only problem is that I cant log in, not even using my ROOT account !! None of my logins actually work... I always got rejected (the problem doesnt come from the root account in itself since the su command makes me root...)
Does anybody know if there are security settings to turn off and how to do that?




OK I fixed it, there was another post about the same issue... Just edit /etc/cups/cupsd.conf and change the authentification method...
