csplit problem ? :(

ok so I have done a quick google but I'm tired and it's easy to ask you guys.
I want to split a file which has a certain deliminator
Code:
_8_8_
so I'm using csplit. The file that I am spliting is very big and has multiples of these.
I have used
Code:
csplit -b 4 sql_perl_dump.txt /_8_8_/
but I only get one file generated. So my question is how can I get it to do all of it? A for loop and how do I do that in bash?
cheers,

PB
