Lightbulb Cruton going to use Mint and Cinnamon Desktop for Chromebooks?

Has anyone heard if the Crouton bunch are going to release a version that will install Linux Mint with the Cinnamon desktop on a Chromebook? I can't get anything about that from the Web sites for it.
