crossover office and firefox

I need help with CrossOver Office on Arch Linux. All of the forums I've found rave about how great and wonderful it is, but I'm having problems configuring the plugins. For example, I install Shockwave using the installer, follow all instructions, and restart Firefox. I even install as root to make sure the plugins go into /opt/mozilla/lib/plugins. However, when I boot Firefox and do aboutlugins, there's no CrossOver plugin. I've done this about a hundred times. I have iTunes installed, and that runs fine.

Question home dir?

Hello coolpyrofreak.

Try to put your plugin to your home directory (/home/coolpyrofreak/.mozilla/firefox/plugins I think...). There it should find. If you don't want to put your plugin to your home dir, try to search for a firefox dir with the search tool.

the only reason i didn't put it in the home directory in the first place was because i didn't have one and i wasn't sure if firefox was going to detect it. but i made the plugins directory in .mozilla, and firefox detected it and it worked right away. thanks!
