$home is your home directory something like /home/yourname. you can do "su -" without the quotes ofcourse to login as root then find your sh file and do "sh crossover-installer.sh". but i don't think you need to be root to install crossover. just do a "chown yourname: crossover-installer.sh" as root and then type "sh crossover-installer.sh" and you should get a GUI setup installer. after that its all like windows!

yeh if you have the .sh version of crossover office it will install to your home directory.

you shouldnt need to make it executable because it will already be.
so

from terminal:

cd /path/to/where/you/saved/the/file
./name of file

then it should start.
