Cron - Delete Files

Is it possible to delete files based on creation date (not modified date)? I need to set up a cron job to do this if possible.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There is no easy answer to this question, it is one that has been asked many times... Unix / Linux does not store a creation time (per see) for a file. If working with what is available is not going to cut it you can roll your own solution.

Here is an interesting article that discusses the cause of the problem and what can be done about it.
