I created a user first and deleted it simply with userdel [username]. Seems this is not cleanly.

So I created this user again and deleted it with userdel -r [username]. This will delete the user cleanly.

Smile Creating mailbox file: File exists

Hi

To solve this issue you need to go in below location and delete the file which is conflicting with your username.

/var/spool/mail/

Creating mailbox file exit

i created user with this
> useradd name
i deleted it with
>userdel name
again i tried to create a user ,then i get answer
>useradd :warning :the home directory already exits
then i used command by entering in home directory
>rm -rf name
then i again tried to add user i get
>file already exits
so i did this
> /var/spool/mail
>rm name
then i added user successfully again.
