netscape and mozilla both have html editors included with their full distributions. they're not all that sexy, but they'll work as html editors. if you really want to become a html guru, learn vi or emacs or <insert your favorite text editor here>, and read up on html. Want to make it even more fun, add some PHP or Perl to the mix. View other people's source, and run some searches on Google. It takes time, but it's satisfying to be able to put pages together from scratch.
